Shykeem Gardner is a Beaufort, SC native with a sports and dance background.

 

He was ranked as one of the top 100 centers for the 2012 AAU basketball tournament in Florida and won the Championship. 

He won 1st place at the 2017 DTI dance competition, participated in the CAPA fundraiser known as Dancing With Our Stars for 3 years, and also participated in the local theater production of Mama Mia.

 

He taught at the Larew Dance Centre before coming to United Dance Plex and prides himself on being the teacher he is today from teachers he had and still has to this day, and the support from those he has surrounded himself with since elementary school.

 

When Skykeem is not dancing he is very relaxed, either shooting hoops, or catching up on shows.
